Population: There are no exact data on the number of blackbirds in Kazakhstan. However, in Almaty, their number has increased markedly in recent decades. In Europe, the number of breeding blackbirds is estimated at 54-87 million pairs.
Status:
A species that is not used for economic purposes, but has ecological, cultural and other value.
Distribution.  
In Kazakhstan, it breeds in Tien Shan and Zhetysu Alatau, as well as in a number of places in Eastern Kazakhstan. On the fly, it is sometimes found in the western regions of the republic. In the south of Kazakhstan, the blackbird is a sedentary bird, in Altai it is a migratory nesting bird, in the rest of the territory it is a common or rare migratory bird.
