Distribution. It breeds and occurs on the fly in the wetlands of most of the territory of lowland Kazakhstan, north to the Kamysh-Samara lakes, Naurzum, Lake Selety-Teniz and Pavlodar Zairtysh. In recent decades, he began to nest on Lake Markakol. On the fly, it is also found in waterless areas.
